Dominion Accuracy of Montana LLC will not rush to compromise quality or precision. Our Hourly Rates = $100; Per Machine Hour = $120; Minimum charge = $50.
Many problems are caused by lack of proper preventative maintenance. We totally strip, clean parts in hydrosonic cleaners, inspect for worn or broken parts, properly lubricate and check for safety. (Extra charge for very dirty or rusted guns.)
If you would like us to outfit your firearm with a scope, mounting and bore sighting is free with the job.
If you bring a scope to us to mount and bore sight it, the labor charge is $35. Mount and base hardware are priced separately priced according to the model used.
Gunsmithing work is based upon an hourly rate of $100. Special gunsmithing services are charged on a by project basis. We will be happy to quote your project upon examination of your firearm.
The restoration or conservation of a family heirloom, accurizing your semi-auto rifle, timing the hammers and ejectors on your over & under, blue printing of your rifle or an action job on your handgun are all done with care and skillful craftsmanship.
House fire guns may be contaminated with toxic and corrosive residues. Damage assessment for insurance purposes can also reveal if the firearm is repairable. Assessment cost is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Appraisals are $35 per gun.
Historical Research Letters can vary in price depending upon the firearm as much as $400 per firearm.
We accept transfer of firearms from or to FFL Dealers & Private Party Transfers in the State of Montana.
FFL transfer is $25 for first firearm and $15 for each additional firearm on the same NICS background check. Outgoing freight charges are separate.
Private Party NICS background checks are available when both parties appear in person at our shop for the transfer.
Understanding FAET Tax liability is important and how it is applied.
In some instances Firearm & Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET Tax) for firearms we build may be charged. Please ask us about this.
